The
annual awards dinner was held in
Minden on February 07, 2009, at the Dominion Hotel.
There was a good turnout of about 38 people. I
have some photos and I have included short video
clips of the trophy presentations.

Steffan Haas was the recipient of the Klaus Bartels Ice Race
Trophy this year for accumulating the most points on the DAC
hosted weekend of ice racing 2009 in class S3 (Front wheel drive
stud class). Andrew Majik received the award last year. Each
year the trophy is awarded in memory of Klaus Bartels to a
driver chosen from a different class each year on the DAC ice
race weekend.

I was very proud to have received the Ice Race Champion trophy this year as it
was handcrafted by a friend of mine whom I still miss - thanks
Raul, and it is the trophy that means the most to me -
Scott Miller.
